Decide.Then do it.

We help established SMEs and a few startups make the big calls – and see them through.

Field

We step in when tweaks and half-measures no longer help: a growth plan that has to be carried out, efficiency gains that have to last, or a business that has to get ready for a sale.

What you get is a clear direction, a short list of next steps with names next to them, and early results that get the team behind the plan.

Established SMEs

Companies at a crossroads. Competition gets tougher, the market consolidates, regulation tightens, a change of ownership between generations is coming, or new technology puts the business model in question. Sometimes the direction has simply blurred.

Selected startups

Early-stage ventures that are ready for systematic strategy. We are selective. We only take one on if it has real potential and we are sure our involvement will make the difference. Startups can rarely pay full rates, so when we believe in one, we invest part of our time instead.

Approach

Four steps, from the first conversation to execution.

  1. Coffee.

    Discovery meeting

An informal first meeting – no slides, no sales pitch. We talk about your situation, your goals and what is really going on, and find out whether there is a fit.

  2. Clarity.

    Value analysis

Before anything is agreed, we run a short analysis of where we can add real value. If we are not the right partner, we say so. If we are, you know exactly why.

  3. Plan.

    Strategy workshop

One full day. We go through your last three balance sheets, your market, your competitors and your sector to answer the basic question – continue or exit? If continuing makes sense, we work out which growth options, efficiency gains, pivots and partnerships are worth pursuing. You leave with priorities, quick wins and a practical roadmap.

  4. Do.

    Execution support

A plan only counts once it is carried out. We stay on as on-demand advisors or as members of your advisory board, with project management included, and bring in partners from our network where they are needed. From startups we borrow short cycles, close contact with customers and quick decisions – and apply them to established businesses.

Team

Strategy is run by two partners. Every engagement is led by one of them personally.
